Wood Bench

Old metal ends of wood bench that has rotted away. You can clean with a wire brush or sand blast if you have the equipment.

Use a good rust prohibitor primer then outdoor paint of your choice.

Install new boards, I used oak wood recycled from pallets.

Finish is a clear
Spar urethane. this is the same finish that is used on exterior wood doors. You can stain the wood first if you prefer.

Now you have a better than new bench.

I also used a router to put customers name on back.
