Pine Table

Small pine table has one drawer. This table could be used as a tv stand or side table.

I bought these solid pine shelving boards, 4'x2' at a Habitat for Humanity store for 3 dollars each. They had ten and I snatched them up. I used I think, 3 to build this table.

The customer had an old cheap stereo stand bought from a something mart years ago. She needed something sturdier and with a lockable drawer.

I made her this small pine table with adjustable shelves, locking raised panel drawer, and finished with a custom stain with a top coat of hand-rubbed spar urethane. By diluting the urethane and applying it with a clean cloth, the finish does not look like a thick coat of plastic, but rather an old-time wax finish.

It has a small adjustable shelf on each side.

I think it turned out alright.

Drawers have oak dowels installed for extra strength and cosmetic appeal.
