Old Trunk Refinishing

This old steamer trunk needs furniture refinishing. This baby was in rough shape and looked more like it was ready for the trash pile. It's amazing how a little time to refinish can help.
How ugly is this?

Old trunk needs help.
Old steamer trunk gets a little help. It needed new handles and more.

It was in such rough shape I couldn't see putting too much time in it.
 but I am surprised how much better it looks after refinishing.
